Simpletown, USA

Seeing The Extra In The Ordinary

Ahhhh Savannah, Georgia; a city known for its eeriness whose residents are proud of its eerie charm.  Its legacy is one of mystery, intrigue, shrouded by claims of the supernatural.  I did not know this until I was within its city limits.  While yes, you can feed into the creepy ghost town phenomenon, I walked along Broughton Street not wrapped up in the hoax or the tall tales of the "lingering" spirits of this rustic town.  Blindly choosing the South SoHo Cafe for a quick Sunday brunch, it was not the cuteness of that cafe that captured my attention.  I wandered around back being enraptured by the simplicity of the streets.  I began capturing snapshots of the "what could be" scenarios dancing before my eyes...

A story of a happy couple holding hands, strolling along, talking intently about what they are currently running from and why?

A story of the Just Married's who have a fixer upper with a new address.

A story of the first time parents who are brave enough to dine out with their little babe, exposing her to this brand new world.

A story of the boy and girl, who sit across from one another (over a milkshake of course), not only because they love each other, but because they like each other.

A story of the nerve shaken man who only moments ago eased a woman's heart by getting down on one knee.

A story of the boy who took a 100 foot journey of faith across the street landing him the girl of his dreams.

Every couple has a story to tell. One of hope, one of promise, one of love, one of adventure. Each story is beautiful in its simplicity.  It is not about the things that are unseen or hidden; it is about what is right in front of you, and how you allow the poetry of your life to be woven together with someone else's.  Do not allow your story to be shoved into the background or overshadowed by mystery. Allow your story to be in the forefront.  Allow me to capture those moments that mean the most and represent your one of a kind love story.

  1. Appreciated work!

I like the post. It is really very helpful to make a rationale decision between the fairs of shipping to usa
    shipping to Canada
    shipping to Australia
    excess baggage shipping.

I hope I will back soon.

    Cheers.
