Spring break is just around the corner and what is a better getaway than the beautiful Cabo San Lucas, Mexico? Cabo has become a stereotypical spring break destination and for good reason. With beautiful beaches, perfect weather, and crystal clear water all at your fingertips, you'll never want to come home. It may draw in some rowdy college crowds with its wild nightlife, so be prepared to witness some less than classy behavior. Spring break is known for its shameful, margarita-induced decisions, so let's bring some finesse to this fiesta. Sorry Girls Gone Wild, with clothes as cute as this, there's no way they're coming off.
Let's get packing!

One-Pieces (left to right): Peixoto, Mara Hoffman, Mara Hoffman, Lisa Maree
First thing on the list is the itty-bitty, teeny-weeny bikini (yellow polka dot not required). What is a better way to unwind than laying on the beach without a care in the world, except when to reapply the sunscreen. Show off that new tan with neon pinks and loud patterns - the brighter the better. If your body isn't bikini-ready just yet, don't worry one-pieces are no longer boring. Cutouts, plunging necklines, and crocheted bodices are far from your mother's bathing suit.

Dresses (left to right): Blu Moon, Dolce Vita, Swell, Billabong
Dresses and rompers are an super easy way to stay cool and chic. Throw one over a bathing suit to transition from sand to sidewalk in seconds. Mara Hoffman always has fantastic patterns that are perfect for tropical climates. Flowy silhouettes are great for staying cool in the Mexican sun, but at night tighter fits are great for a night on the town.

The classic jean cut-offs are a no-brainer, but why not mix it up with different colors or embellishments, like a lace-up front instead of a zipper. Or try patterned shorts that are typically made of lightweight cotton for even more breathability.
Shoes (clockwise): Sam Edelman, Rebecca Minkoff, Kelsi Dagger, Jessica Simpson, Dolce Vita, Kelsi Dagger
Considering all the time you'll spend at the beach, you won't be wearing shoes too much. For the times you do, make sure to pack some colorful sandals and cute flats. Cabo is extremely touristy so it's completely acceptable to break out those heels.
Hats: American Apparel

Now that you're looking muy bonita don't ruin your perfect outfit with a sunburn. Be sure to layer up on sunscreen, especially after swimming. Wide-brim hats are perfect for protecting your face from the harmful rays. If you're embarrassed of your winter white skin try a spray tan. Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs is water resistant and lasts until you scrub it off. It is easy to apply and significantly reduces the chances of blinding innocent bystanders with your paleness.
