She's the hug when you spilled your cereal, she helps clean it up.

She's the hug when you scraped your knee, she has the band aid ready.

She's the hug when you got your first A+, she has the ice cream cone waiting.

She's the hug when you got your first F, she studies beside you next time 'round.

She's the hand that holds yours across the street.

She's the hand that holds yours when asking God for guidance.

She's the hand that holds yours over the brownie mix mixing.

She's the hand that holds yours as she lets you try on her wedding ring.

She's the laugh that laughs alongside your triumphs.

She's the cry that cries alongside your sorrows.

She's your constant, she's your supporter, she's your friend.

She knows most, and listens to all.

She's the guide that shows you the way.

She's the guide that guides you back.
